Blackstone would like to invite all female law students to be involved in the 2014 ‘Women in Law Mentor Scheme’. We strongly encourage any female law student who is looking at a legal related field to participate as you gain invaluable advice and the ability to build strong networks. The program opens on Tuesday the 25th of February so if you are interested please email email@example.com. We just need your name, year level, student number and any practice area you may be interested in.
Welcome to Competitions 2014! With the UWA Law Schools movement towards the JD program, it is becoming increasingly apparent that universities are shifting towards a more ‘practical way’ of teaching law. Blackstone is complimenting this transition by promoting its competitions this year as a way of developing realistic, applicable legal skills. Competitions provide a way of honing legal skills early, as well as a way to have a bit of fun outside of the classroom. I look forward to seeing all of you compete this year – its going to be a good one!
Keep an eye out for signups to Semester 1 competitions, which will be released this week. For further information, contact Matt Dulaney at firstname.lastname@example.org.
