Careers Fairs

Blackstone organises three careers fairs: the Perth Law Careers Fair, the Beyond the Terrace Careers Fair, and the Mid-Year Careers Fair.

Perth Law Careers Fair

The 2013 Perth Law Careers Fair will be held on Tuesday, 30 April 2013 at Winthrop Hall, UWA.

The primary aim of the PLCF is to provide Western Australian law students with an invaluable opportunity to meet, speak with and gather information and literature from possible future employers. The PLCF also allows employers the chance to promote and advertise their firm or organisation to a large number of students. In this way the event has proved to be a beneficial and rewarding experience for employers and students alike.

Beyond the Terrace Careers Fair

The ‘Beyond the Terrace’ Careers Fair is an informal event held on UWA campus during lunch hour. Situated in the Law Link area, the Law Society of WA, aboriginal corporations, government bodies and not-for-profit organisations are able to provide students with information about non-corporate legal-esque careers.

The Mid-Year Careers Fair

The Mid-Year Careers Fair is an opportunity for students to have one final look at the firms they will be applying for during the Clerkship and Graduate job application process. The Careers Fair will be held during the Clerkship application period, allowing students to ask any final questions they may have of firms. The Mid-Year Careers Fair is also a great opportunity for employers to speak to students who are in the process of writing applications, giving firms the ability to connect with and engage potential vacation clerks and graduates.
