This year, the Careers Handbook has expanded to become the “Comprehensive Law Students’ Survival Guide”, and will not only include the traditional clerkship and graduate information, but also information on exchanges, scholarships, international opportunities, elective units and more!

The Careers Handbook provides students with diverse, thoughtful and useful career information. It details traditional legal career paths and practice areas, avenues for legal work experience, and information on articled clerkships; as well as critical dates, and practical hints about applications, CV’s and interview technique. Recognising that all things corporate are not for everyone, the Careers Handbook this year has a renewed focus on providing information on alternative career paths, volunteer work, social justice opportunities, international internships, and special information for grad students and women in the law; making it a complete careers resource.

The Careers Directory is produced as part of the Careers Handbook.  This year’s editorial team has promised that it will be the most comprehensive directory ever compiled.

The 2012 Careers Handbook will be launched early in March, in time for the Perth Law Careers Fair (30 March)!
