Blake Dawson Student Paper
Sponsored by Blake Dawson
The 2010 Blake Dawson Student Paper Competition affords students an opportunity to submit and present a paper on a subject of their choice connected with law or justice. The competition involves two stages: submission of a written paper followed later by an oral presentation of the key elements of the written paper and the argument it develops.
Competing in Student Paper allows students to conduct further research and analysis of a topic they have become passionate about as a result of their studies, or to pursue a novel or diverse topic not undertaken as part of the curriculum. The competition aims to encourage the pursuit of excellence in academic scholarship and allow students to develop their skills of research, analysis, communication, oral presentation and persuasive argument.
