HodgkinsonJohnston is an aviation and aerospace law firm with Australian and international clients. It is one of the few dedicated aviation law firms in the world. The firm advises on all aspects of aviation law including legislative and regulatory frameworks, sale and purchase of aircraft, aircraft charter and lease agreements, aircraft co-ownership agreements, and the testing and regulation of unmanned aerial vehicles (drones).
They are currently seeking students for the following two positions:
1. Summer clerkship: (27 November - 8 December 2017 or 11 December - 22 December)

2. Research associate: work will be performed on a casual basis over a three-month period in the first instance. The work is flexible and can be completed at the office or remotely.

The positions will involve research and analysis regarding aviation law and regulation in multiple, disparate jurisdictions. While the positions is unpaid, it does offer experience and the opportunity to develop both substantive aviation law knowledge (including with regard to drones) and domestic and international aviation contacts.
