Volunteer researchers wanted: Mental Health Law Centre

The Mental Health Law Centre is currently looking for law students to assist with legal research and drafting law reform submissions (to be done from home).

    arise in our office;
  • recognised in MHLC’s Annual Report;
  • welcome to attend our volunteer training session(s);
  • authorised to attend Mental Health Review Board hearings
    with a solicitor (where appropriate);
  • promoting human rights by helping draft law reform
    submissions to redress two of the most iniquitous statutes in WA ; and
  • maybe find a great honours thesis topic.

If you would like to contribute, the MHLC would welcome your response with an expression of interest. Please send  a cover letter, your CV and a copy of your most recent academic transcript for consideration.
