Hang out with Julius!

whhaaat! You have a dog?!

Yes! Julius Caesar is a 14-year-old Dachshund and the Law School's very own 'Juris Dogtor'. Like any good human friend, a loyal dog will look into your eyes to gauge your emotional state and try to understand what you’re thinking and feeling. Numerous studies have shown the benefits of spending time with a furry friend - reducing anxiety and boosting vitality being at the top of the list.

The UWA Law School know that there are days where we all need a mood booster. Julius is part of our Take a Break initiative and is here to spend one-on-one time with students in need of a wellbeing checkup.

I want to spend time with him! How do I do it?

If you are a UWA Law student you can drop by for some quality time with Julius.

Drop past the Law Link building on a Monday and Thursday and see Tash Terbeeke to take Julius for a little snuggle or a short walk. He is usually there between the hours of 9am and 2pm.

I went to see julius but he wasn't there?

Although we try our best to make sure you see Julius, sometimes he is just too tired for visits, or has not come to uni for the day, and we apologise if you miss out on seeing him.

I'm not a law student. can I still spend time with him?

Unfortunately not. Julius is for UWA Law Students only (JD, LLB, Higher Degrees by Research, Graduate Diploma,  etc.)
