Publications

The Blackstone Society will be producing many publications in 2010. These will range from the intellectually stimulating, to the frivolous and playful, and to those fraught with purpose, yes, and practicality. In short, there is a publication for everyone, as well as for those with multiple personalities.

Importantly, there is also a publication for everybody to get involved in. The editors of Blackstone publications are portfolio positions which are appointed by the Blackstone President and the Publications Officer shortly after the new committee takes effect. If you’ve missed out on applying for one of those positions, you can still get involved either as a subeditor or as a contributor. Onyx and Commentaries are always looking for different writers, Briefs would be far more funny if a greater number of people got involved and the Equity and Diversity Handbook would be more representative if more people signed up to the subcommittee. So read below about our publications and how you can get involved.

The Alternative Faculty Handbook is an online publication, which can be accessed through the ‘Alternative Faculty Handbook’ tab. Other publications are either currently available online or will be put online throughout the year (Commentaries, Equity and Diversity Handbook).
