A wise man once said, “There are three things you can be sure of in life: death, taxes, and that Brazilians know how to have a good time.” Other than good football and a Brazilian Wax, Brazil is also famous for its Rio Carnival, and we know every single one of you has entertained your own Brazilian fantasy at least once or twice! Which is why, this year, Blackstone is bringing Brazil to you!
On September 8 the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre will be filled with the excitement, sounds and colours of the Rio Carnival for the Ashurst Blackstone Ball. There will be colour and lights, feathers and glitter, shimmying and dancing as we recreate the incredible Rio festivities in the BelleVue Ballroom!
You will be treated to joyous live music, amazing jugglers, a stunning troupe of Brazillian dancers, and the tunes of DJs Iain McIntyre (Empyrean Entertainment) and Avi Dey.
To party South America-style, all you have to do is grab yourself a ticket, available from Monday 20 August at noon. But be quick, senhors and senhoritas, tickets sold out in less than 3 hours last year!

Tickets: $135 Blackstone members / $145 non-members – includes 3 course meal, all drinks and free VIP entry to the afterparty. Tickets are available online or in the Law Courtyard Mon-Thurs 12-2pm, from Monday 20 August at noon.
Please note: Tickets to this event are not transferable. You can book multiple tickets, but you must enter the name of the holder of the ticket for each ticket when booking (i.e. do not purchase five tickets under your own name - you won’t be able to transfer them to a friend – the friend’s name is the one that must be entered). Printable tickets only display the name of the person who made the booking, but tables and admission will use the name provided for each ticket.
