Pub Crawl

When James Cook first arrived at Australia the first thing he said was, “This place needs a bloody good pub.” That may or may not be true, but assuming it is, it is our responsibility… no… our duty to drink the sun down to honour our first sailors. So prepare thine bodies my friends, because on the 8th of August the Blackstone boat full of sailors and sailettes will take the shore one pub at a time!

The second semester is fast approaching so start it in style with the inaugural Blackstone Pub Crawl! The theme is Naughty-cal, and we intend to put together the motliest crew the shores of Perth have ever seen and with tickets cheaper than a night with a lovely lass from Tortuga. All we ask is for your courage, your strength and your finest sailing clothes.

Our voyage will start at the UWA Tav and will follow wherever the compass points. We intend to hoist our sails at 7pm, but feel free to come to the Tav any time after six o’clock to begin your journey. From there the evening promises to be filled with mayhem, madness and plenty o’ good ol’ fashioned fun!

Tickets can be bought online from   or from the Law Courtyard Monday-Thursday 12-2pm whence uni recommences – $15 Blackstone members / $20 non-members.

Tickets are limited so get in quick so you don’t miss the boat!
