Back to Uni Courtyard Show

Courtyard Show – the celebration of both the beginning and end of the academic year for all law students. Forget about the fancy outfits and strained bank accounts, the courtyard show offers everything you need to have a good time at student-friendly prices. Dancing in the fountain and enjoying the view as the boys get their tops off (for no reason at all) are all Blackstone traditions. Yeah we know, awesome.
Fresher Picnic

If you just don’t think you can hack 2 nights of law camp but still need some friends to discuss your awesome TER score with then come to Fresher Picnic. If you’re just that brilliant then you will come to both events, High-five. I kid about the TER score, we’re all smart, we don’t care what you got but congrats anyway!
Law Camp

Disco buses, boat races, debauchery, frolicking, fraternising, the beep test, dancing, eating, dancing, drinking, dancing, awesome. Do some of these phrases/words make little or no sense to you? Are you a fresher (brand spanking new to Law School)? Do you need friends (and be honest with yourself)? Make sure you buy a ticket to Law Camp. Everyone loves it and whoever goes comes back with guaranteed street cred. Hurry because tickets usually sell out within the first day.
PROSH

The largest charity newspaper in Australia kicks off every year with extravagant themes, costumes, floats and shenanigans! Help raise money for charity by getting up at 4am to sell newspapers throughout Perth’s suburbs. A truly hilarious, satirical rendition of the world’s current affairs, it’s well worth the sleep deprivation.

The debate is always unruly and full of laughs, and topped off with some surprise revelations from both sides! Always a memorable night.

Several social events are run throughout the year as part of the Scheme, providing an opportunity for mentees and mentors to mingle, give and receive invaluable advice and discuss issues of concern to women in the law. In 2010 a cocktail party will be held to launch the Scheme, followed by a gala breakfast in second semester.
