As one of our largest and most important Wellness and Mental Health initiatives, Wellness Week is part of our Take a Break initiative and is held once in each semester. It is a response to concerns about the prevalence of mental health problems within the law community. Activities during the week include but are not limited to: a free breakfast, visits from animal rescue shelters, free massages, and information sessions run by mental health experts.
The weeks are aimed at facilitating students to improve, recognise and look after their mental health, and are timed for high-risk times of semester. With a dedicated Wellness portfolio in the Blackstone Society, the Wellness Week events look to be bigger than ever.
Semester 1 wellness week
The Semester 1 Wellness Week will take place during Week 12 in Semester 1, starting Monday 28th May 2018.
