Are you interested in developing your public speaking and oral advocacy skills? Are you intrigued by current issues of public international law? If so, you should consider applying to be part of the UWA Jessup Moot team in 2016/2017. Participation in the UWA Jessup competition counts as a 12-point elective unit towards your LLB or JD degree.
The annual Philip C Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition is regarded worldwide as the most prestigious mooting competition for law students. It involves teams from law schools all over the world preparing detailed written and oral submissions on a problem scenario that raises contemporary issues of public international law. Sound like something you would like to take part in? Applications are now open for the 2016/2017 UWA Jessup team and will close at 12 pm on Tuesday 9 August 2016.
