They advise on all aspects of aviation law including legislative and regulatory frameworks, conditions of carriage and passenger liability, sale and purchase of aircraft, aircraft charter and lease agreements, aircraft co-ownership agreements, safety and security issues, and the testing and regulation of unmanned aerial vehicles (drones).
The firm seeks a penultimate or final year law student for a summer clerkship position (12 - 23 December; 9 - 27 January). The position will involve research and analysis regarding aviation law and regulation in multiple, disparate jurisdictions. While this position is unpaid, it does offer experience and the opportunity to develop both substantive aviation law knowledge (including with regard to drones) and domestic and international aviation contacts.
You will work directly with partners who are internationally recognised as leaders in their field, on matters of global significance, and in a firm where innovation and strategic thinking are paramount. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong academic results, excellent research skills, attention to detail, and well developed interpersonal skills.Clerks will be provided with a letter of reference upon completion of their clerkship.
