Blackstone Rottnest Swim Team

Are you interested in completing the Rottnest Channel Swim in 2020? Blackstone will be sending a team of four swimmers and several paddlers to compete this February.

The Rottnest Channel Swim has become a staple of the WA sporting calendar, and for the first time, Blackstone will be sending a team to compete in 2020. Applications are currently being sought from accomplished open water swimmers, paddlers and skippers. If you’re interested in testing your mettle against the high seas, fill out the form below!

Given the length of the swim and the range of conditions participants may be faced with, all applicants must have previous open water swimming or paddling experience. Applicants must also be available for regular training sessions during the summer break, including (at minimum) a weekly early morning team swim.

All registration fees will be covered.

All participants must be available to attend a safety briefing at HBF Stadium at 2.30pm on Saturday 1 February 2020.

  • Event date: Saturday 22 February 2020

  • Distance: 19.7km

  • Places available: 4 swimmers, 2 paddlers and 1 skipper

  • Training: The team will be training together on at least one morning each week throughout the summer break.
