Philippa, a graduate of the Law School, has recently undertaken a six month secondment from Ashurst Australia to the North Australian Aboriginal Justice Agency in the Northern Territory (http://www.naaja.org.au). Philippa will share her experience of working to improve access to justice for Indigenous people living in remote areas of Australia. Click HERE for more information.

The Law Society is co-ordinating a Panel discussed on proposed Human Trafficking and Slavery laws that seek to regulate the prostitution industry. Panel members include Sex Trafficking expert and barrister Dr Kendall, Justice Stephen Hall, Senator Michaelia Cash, Labor MP Melissa Parke, Australian Federal Police Supt David Berston and WA researcher Abigail Bray.
