Wellness

Jocelyn Lee - Wellness VP.

The Wellness portfolio aims to improve law student welfare through supportive, well-being-based programs. In 2024, we are looking forward to bringing a number of initiatives to the law school to equip students with the skills and resources to lead physically and mentally healthy lifestyles.

This will be achieved in 2024 through:

  • Providing free access to gym services for students, to encourage an active lifestyle;

  • Our Prevail Program series;

  • Publishing Blackbird to raise awareness around mental and physical health;

  • Hosting Blackstone’s bi-annual Wellness Weeks to provide a means to de-stress;

  • Encouraging an active lifestyle through Blackstone’s highly anticipated annual ‘You’ve Been Served’ volleyball competition;

  • Participating in Inter-faculty, Intervarsity and UWA Social Sport to encourage an active lifestyle and support a wider scope of engagement;

  • Hosting our annual Allens Mental Health Quiz Night to raise funds for a mental health charity; and

  • Running our highly anticipated Table Tennis Tournament.
